Windows Server virtualization calculator

Check out the new Windows Server virtualization calculator to get an estimate on the number of OS licenses needed, and the costs, to virtualize different datacenter configurations.

The calculator is pre-populated with the US dollar Open agreement Estimated Retail Prices for Standard Edition, Enterprise Edition and Datacenter Edition (yellow chart below), which you can update with your organization’s prices for more accurate estimates.

On a related note, some of the team will be attending InfoWorld’s virtualization forum, Feb. 12, in San Francisco. Mike Neil will co-present with Novell, and then later appear on a vendor panel. We’ll also demo Windows Server virtualization, System Center Virtual Machine Manager at the conference. Hope to see you there.

Patrick
