Minecraft: Education Edition has found a place in many classrooms around the world, empowering students and teachers to take charge of their learning, boost their STEM and 21st-century skills to solve problems through inquiry, creativity and collaboration—in the immersive and fun world of Minecraft.

Microsoft Store recently teamed up with the Garth Brooks’ Teammates for Kids Foundation and wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald’s The First Down Fund to provide 32 deserving schools in the Phoenix and Minneapolis areas with Microsoft technology and devices.

America has a literacy crisis. More than 36 million adults in the United States cannot read, write, or do basic math above a third grade level.
