    The OMS Gateway (formerly known as the OMS Log Analytics Forwarder) enables customers send data to a central server which has access to the Internet. OMS Gateway is a HTTP forward proxy that supports HTTP tunneling via the HTTP CONNECT command. The Gateway can handle up to 1000 OMS concurrent connected devices if run on a 4 core CPU, 8GB Windows Server with a 1Gbps network connection. In order to use the OMS Gatway, you need to install the OMS agant on the Gateway server. Please note that this version of the Gateway supports multi-homing, although still in preview.

  • 1. Install the OMS agent on the server you are going to install the Gateway. 2. Install the OMS Gateway. 3. Configure OMS agents to use the OMS Gateway to send data.
