    Server-side synchronization is a component in Microsoft Dynamics CRM that is used to integrate CRM with Microsoft Exchange email servers. Server-side synchronization is the preferred option for organizations with users who run CRM in a web browser or on a mobile device, such as a tablet or smartphone. In CRM Online 2016 Update, we have added a hybrid server-side synchronization capability: the support of CRM Online with Exchange Server (on-premises).
